GROWING UP IN A CREATIVE ABUNDANCE
Born in the South of France, Lola Mayeras grew up with a father who was a ceramicist. In his clay-turning workshop, the curious child developed an early passion for form and color. This creative energy initially led her to the world of fashion! After studying fashion design in Paris, she worked as a fashion designer in the capital for six years. The unprecedented upheavals of the health crisis undoubtedly prompted Lola to return to the sanctuary of her childhood. As the world came to a standstill, she rediscovered her father's workshop, strangely deserted and silent since his retirement. In this haven of creativity, Lola's fascination with clay resurfaced unexpectedly… culminating in the handcrafting of her first ceramic collection.
EXPERIMENTATION AS A MODE OF EXPRESSION
Since 2020, Lola Mayeras has made her mark on the home decor scene with her spontaneous and playful creative universe, uniquely her own. Three collections later, her name has become synonymous with cheerfulness and good humor, and is now associated with a colorful world of quirky, humorous ceramics capable of brightening any space with their mere presence. Far removed from the academic constraints of this art form, Lola Mayeras displays a freedom of expression that allows her to take ceramics into uncharted territory.
