The aha is a association Founded in 2017, this association offers visual artists personalized support for a minimum of five years, thus contributing to the development of research in the arts. The association highlights the work of Lena Amuat & Zoë Meyer, who have invited Simone Holliger to exhibit alongside them. "In the duo's photographs, a collection of'Decontextualized objects are presented without revealing their origin or temporality. Between flatness and depth, plasticity and gesture, Simone Holliger, for her part, imports the practice of drawing into the field of sculpture., explains independent curator Marianne Derrien. Who are these three artists? Lena Amuat and Zoë Meyer are both graduates of the Zurich University of the Arts. They use photography to trace the history of science and culture through its various means of representation. As for Simone Holliger, a graduate of the Geneva University of Art and Design and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, she won the Nestlé Young Creation Prize and the Swiss Art Award in 2019. Holliger creates abstract forms from glued paper, which she delicately incorporates into the space. All three engage in a dialogue between sculpture, drawing, and photography within the Griset and Moret spaces of ahah, until December 10.
