The venerable French fashion house has unveiled its latest flagship store in the Swiss city. An architectural gem that blends elegance and grandeur, designed by Christian de Portzamparc.
Located on the corner of Rue du Rhône, this striking building immediately catches the eye, with its long, white resin petals that appear to have been delicately placed against its facade. Comprising six stories, this creation by architect Christian de Portzamparc, the first Frenchman to be awarded the Pritzker Prize, will now house boutiques and offices. Standing 22 meters tall, its sleek silhouette is a nod to Christian Dior's creative process, as he cut out fabrics for his haute couture designs. This architecture also echoes the Dior flagship store in Seoul, also designed by Christian de Portzamparc, in 2015.
