Claire Choisne, creative director of Boucheron, has launched her latest collection, "Or Bleu" (Blue Gold), a poetic and audacious celebration of water, a vital and precious element. Inspired by the powerful and raw landscapes of Iceland, this high jewelry collection captures the essence of water in its many forms and textures.

Tumultuous waterfalls, crashing waves, and eternal ice served as muses for these exceptional pieces. Each creation in the collection tells a unique story of nature, evoking the different facets of water's beauty and dynamism. Inspired by an imposing Icelandic waterfall, Claire Choisne conceived Cascade, a white gold and diamond necklace, the longest ever crafted by the Boucheron workshops. Measuring 148 centimeters, this exceptional jewel is composed of 1,816 diamonds of varying sizes, offering breathtaking fluidity and realism. Thanks to its detachable sections, the necklace can also be transformed into a shorter version with matching earrings.
The Ondes jewelry collection symbolizes the moment a falling drop of water disturbs the tranquil surface of a lake. Comprising a necklace and two rings in rock crystal and diamonds, this series uses 3D simulations to reproduce the delicate ripples of water. The necklace, designed to feel like a second skin, is adorned with 4,542 diamonds invisibly set beneath the rock crystal, creating an illusion of movement and transparency.

Inspired by the dark waters of Iceland, the "Eau d'Encre" series includes a bracelet and a ring in black obsidian, set with diamonds. The bracelet is made of two identical blocks of this volcanic rock, sculpted to mimic crashing waves. The ring, adorned with a 2,01-carat pear-shaped diamond, contrasts the blackness of the obsidian with the brilliance of the gemstone. Boucheron uses innovative techniques to create these pieces. For the "Sable Noir" series, artisans employ 3D printing to compact grains of black sand, recreating the iridescent textures of Icelandic beaches. Subtly set using a unique technique, the diamonds resemble the foam of the waves. Each piece is designed to reveal light in a dazzling way.
But the collection goes beyond fine jewelry: it's a celebration of natural beauty and a call to preserve our planet. Each creation in "Blue Gold" tells a story of passion and respect for the natural elements, echoing their captivating beauty.
By capturing the essence of Icelandic landscapes, Boucheron underscores the importance of preserving these natural wonders, while offering its clients unique and timeless jewelry. "Or Bleu" is an essential collection for fine jewelry enthusiasts, promising to captivate the imagination and shine for generations to come.
