LOUIS VUITTON sets up shop in Palm Springs

It is through a campaign that highlights the Art of Living collections, ean expression of the house's unparalleled know-how and craftsmanship, Louis Vuitton continues its invitation to travel. From trunks to lifestyle accessories and the Objets Nomades, the brand infuses its codes, its tradition and its French art of living into a colorful short film.

On the grand avenues of Palm Springs, a city with colorful modernist architecture, the film tells the story of a group of friends preparing for an evening in the colors of the collections: festive and decidedly retro.

It all begins on a calm morning as we follow a young couple in their car until it crashes into a pyramid of trunks, sending colorful invitations flying into the air for what we can imagine is a party that is being prepared.

Throughout the video, different personalities appear in settings straight out of a Wes Anderson film, until the atmosphere transforms into a party ready to last until the end of the night.

Clearly inspired by the 1960s, the campaign takes place on a Palm Springs property with very retro photography. But, throughout the different scenes, we find pieces stamped with the Louis Vuitton logo: porcelain vases inspired by the house's bags, furniture – sometimes designed in collaboration with the Campana brothers, Raw-Edges and Marcel Wanders Studio – as well as the iconic trunks, not forgetting leather bottle holders, golf kits, rugs, skateboards and hammocks, thus offering a Californian lifestyle as if you were there.

Louis Vuitton has always loved to combine fashion and lifestyle with the context of culture.

Today, the brand remains true to the spirit of its founder, who invented a true art of travel that was as creative as it was elegant and practical.
