How can the smallest details make the biggest difference?
Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 unfolded under the banner of renewal. Driven by a vast array of designers who reshaped the creative landscape, the season introduced new aesthetic visions where innovative approaches to styling and accessories brought a breath of fresh air and modernity, guided by responsible values.
Collar on a closed collar

We often talk about balance in fashion, between two colors, the proportions of the silhouette… An outfit is conceived according to a harmony between its constituent shapes: a cinched waist, a plunging neckline, long sleeves, a mid-length cut, a mini skirt, a turtleneck… It has always been normal to leave the neck exposed to wear necklaces. However, during the Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Week, we observed that necklaces adorned closed collars to change the look. The silhouette thus gains strength and takes on a whole new dimension. By adding embellishments to the upper body, we structure it differently, reinforcing its character. A play of contrast between rigor and boldness that redefines how we approach accessories.
Asymmetrical collar

Symmetrical collars are timeless, but can be boring because they always present the same silhouette. In contrast, the asymmetrical collar adjusts to proportions and body shape, changing the structure of the upper body by revealing or covering it. This trend is versatile and can adapt to any style, creating unexpected variations: a collar peeking out from under a turtleneck, a lapel that slips off the shoulder, a deliberately misplaced pleat. In one simple gesture, an outfit transforms from ordinary to unique.
Mixed match

The "mismatched" trend, or mismatched style, stems from the same principle as the "necklace over a closed collar" trend: it focuses more on imbalance than balance. Dissonant patterns, contrasting textures, unexpected colors… the deliberately discordant combination creates a surprising effect and stimulates the eye. In a world that can be saturated with ideas, this new way of accessorizing an outfit promotes renewal and sustainability. It's not necessary to buy new pieces, but simply to put together the unthinkable. The mismatched trend allows you to diversify your outfits and gain originality without changing your wardrobe.
Colorful gloves

While gloves and mittens enjoyed great success during winter 2024, this year they're back with a fresh twist. Leather gloves seem to be dominating the market, with a trend towards extravagance and technical details. Long and colorful, they provide warmth while instantly energizing an outfit. Gloves are no longer just a practical accessory; they add an essential and bold touch. Extravagant or soft colors allow for easy style experimentation. It's further proof that a detail often considered secondary can become the centerpiece of a look.
The Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Week showed us that innovation lies not only in new pieces, but also in how we reinvent everyday details and accessories. This approach to fashion champions sustainability and renewal while simultaneously stimulating creativity. Style habits are gradually evolving within a context of increased awareness regarding waste, overconsumption, and environmental issues.
