"The woman" Sebbie She likes to have fun and go out. It's very important not to forget to have fun.
We had the privilege of meeting Lauren Pugh, the designer behind the Sebbie brand . She was impeccably dressed and exuded a disarming elegance. The brand takes its name from her dog, Sebastian, who has a habit of always pulling the finest silks from the wardrobe to lie on. Lauren Pugh is a woman of taste, determined to offer the fashion world her ethical and elegant vision of androgyny. She borrows strong, everyday pieces from menswear, which she then breaks with feminine touches and unconventional cuts. The project was born and immortalized in the streets of Naples. The next campaign was photographed by Brett Lloyd, featuring international model Hanne Gaby Odiele in the heart of this still-sleeping city. The collection is called Atypically Timeless.
Italy perfectly embodies an eclectic system, a charming tumult, and the strange harmony of this fatal discord. Driven by this aesthetic, Sebbie's clothing blends seamlessly with the surrounding energy. The designer seeks to share a mindset that values the timelessness of clothing over the ephemeral effervescence of trends that vanish with the slightest breeze. Without entirely abandoning fashion's conventions, Sebbie celebrates individuality. Lauren meticulously crafts pieces in which every personality can flourish. The collection comprises dresses, shirts with romantic touches, and statement pieces conceived using tailoring techniques.

“Fashion is expensive, so I wanted to create a product that respects the customer who decides to buy Sebbie . We thought about her and want her to keep her piece for as long as possible, for it to be versatile enough to mix and match with her future clothes.” The collection is characterized by short supply chain production supported by the best factories in Italy and a limited catalog. Each piece is carefully considered to meet multi-use needs, accommodate different body shapes, and offer a unique aesthetic that must endure. Sebbie focuses on the timelessness of a cut combined with the best properties of carefully pre-selected materials.
“I love living knowing I feel good in the clothes I wear. That was one of the reasons I chose to embark on this adventure.” Sebbie is a brand entirely focused on female confidence and the pleasure of living each moment of life without neglecting oneself. What Sebbie shares with certain high-end brands is its very pragmatic approach to the many needs a woman will have throughout her life. Conversely, it distinguishes itself through its attention to simple details: a belt, a veil,

Sebbie is the culmination of a close collaboration between Lauren Pugh and Jamie Cockerill, a Paris-based design consultant. “We met through a mutual friend who introduced us. I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight, but very quickly, the relationship developed into a strong and creative friendship.” Working and traveling together to meet Italian manufacturers, Lauren and Jamie complement each other in terms of technical expertise and value for money. The project follows a clean and perfectly clear editorial line, even though it is driven by two different people, proving that their friendship is truly productive.
Sebbie is more than just a brand; every fragment of its story conveys a life lesson and a subtle appreciation for the beauty of simple things. It's a chance encounter, Italian quality, and a timeless collection that make up the richness of this new brand. "I think it's important to stay true to your values and to work with people you respect and would want to work with."
