The month of unexpected collaborations

Sharing visions between fashion brands, photographers, the sports world or cinema creates a space for escapism.

Collaborations between brands and designers now occupy a central place in the fashion industry. Partnerships such as Stella McCartney x H&M, Gabriel Moses x Corteiz, Burberry x Hunza G, Veja x Misci, and Gentle Monster x Disney x Formula 1 demonstrate how fashion is becoming a space for exchange between different disciplines and identities. These projects reflect a more hybrid approach, where image, culture, and commitment become as important as the product itself. Each collaboration thus develops its own narrative, while reflecting contemporary consumer expectations: authenticity, creativity, responsibility, and a powerful visual experience.

Stella McCartney x H&M:

The collaboration between Stella McCartney and H&M marks the return of an iconic partnership, more than twenty years after their first collaboration. This new 2026 collection reflects a clear objective: to make creative, desirable, and responsible fashion accessible to a wide audience.

True to its DNA, Stella McCartney emphasizes sustainable fashion, favoring recycled and certified materials. This includes pieces made from organic cotton, responsibly sourced wool, and innovative materials derived from corn-based alternatives. This approach reflects its long-standing commitment to a more ethical industry, notably through its refusal to use leather or fur.

The collection blends timeless basics with modern silhouettes: relaxed suits, classic trench coats, and bold dresses adorned with recycled details. Designed to be worn from day to night, these creations embody a contemporary femininity that is both elegant and accessible. Stella McCartney and H&M offer a committed and modern vision of fashion, where aesthetics and responsibility are not opposed, but complementary.

Gabriel Moses x Corteiz

The collaboration between Gabriel Moses and Corteiz is a meeting of image and clothing, where visual storytelling almost overshadows the product itself. Unveiled in spring 2026, this collection extends an existing creative relationship between the photographer and the founder of Clint419, rooted in contemporary London culture.

At the heart of the project lies a profoundly cinematic approach. The central piece, a windbreaker, features a reinterpretation of the iconic torch-holding woman from the Columbia Pictures logo, here embodied by a Black woman. This visual gesture, a signature of Moses's work, subverts a universal symbol to question representation and redefine figures of power.

The collection then expands to include a range of streetwear pieces: hoodies, jerseys, T-shirts, and tracksuits, all expressing references to the diaspora, London, and a contemporary diaspora aesthetic. Elements such as pan-African colors and the "Lundun" lettering reinforce this strong cultural identity, bridging the local and the global.

More than just a collaboration, Gabriel Moses x Corteiz offers a direct transposition of imagery onto textiles. Where Corteiz typically builds its mystique through scarcity and community, Moses brings a dense, almost political, visual narrative. The result: a photographer who translates his visual universe into a collection in collaboration with a niche streetwear brand.

Burberry x Hunza G

The collaboration between Burberry and Hunza G embodies a natural meeting of two British houses united by a shared vision: textile innovation and a modern approach to summer style. Launched for summer 2026, this swimwear capsule collection reinterprets the iconic codes of both brands through a minimalist yet recognizable aesthetic.

At the heart of the collection is Hunza G's iconic Original Crinkle fabric, renowned for its stretchy texture and ability to flatter every figure. Burberry adds its signature visual touch with the famous Check pattern, featured on bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, and hybrid pieces like the versatile swim skirt. Designed to be worn both at the beach and in the city, these creations emphasize versatility and comfort while maintaining a strong fashion identity.

Veja x Misci

The collaboration between Veja and Misci illustrates a powerful encounter between socially conscious design and contemporary Brazilian cultural identity. This capsule collection centers around an exclusive sneaker that synthesizes the worlds of both brands.

The model revisits Veja's Paulistana silhouette, a retro-running base, transformed by Misci's creative approach. The design is distinguished by asymmetrical lines, a robust sole, and the use of unique materials such as pirarucu leather, bringing an artisanal dimension and a unique approach to texture.

The visual inspiration draws directly from Brazilian landscapes, from the Lençóis Maranhenses to the Amazon, reflecting a dialogue between nature, territory, and modernity. This aesthetic narrative is consistent with the values of both brands: Veja, a pioneer in responsible production based on ecological materials and transparent supply chains, and Misci, renowned for its ability to transform Brazilian cultural references into contemporary fashion.

Gentle Monster x Disney x Formula 1

The Gentle Monster Circuit collection is part of an ambitious collaboration uniting the worlds of Disney and Formula 1. Launched in 2026, this capsule collection offers a bold vision of eyewear, at the crossroads of sport, entertainment and fashion.

Inspired by the speed and engineering of racing cars, the collection is distinguished by frames with dynamic and aerodynamic lines. The enveloping shapes, sculptural curves, and lightweight yet durable materials convey an aesthetic directly derived from the language of racing. This technical dimension is complemented by a playful touch: the integration of references to the Disney universe, notably through nods to iconic characters like Mickey Mouse. This contrast between performance and imagination creates a unique balance and a pop aesthetic.

The collaborations studied demonstrate how contemporary fashion now transcends mere clothing to become a true space for cultural and creative expression. Whether it's the sustainable commitment of Stella McCartney x H&M, the visual storytelling of Gabriel Moses x Corteiz, the textile innovation of Burberry x Hunza G, the Brazilian identity conveyed by Veja x Misci, or the futuristic yet playful universe of Gentle Monster x Disney x Formula 1, each of these capsule collections offers a unique vision of current design.
