This editorial, written by me, is part of a dialogue between several disciplines, notably photography and painting. It draws freely on certain pictorial atmospheres, particularly those found in the work of Antoine Watteau. The figure of Pierrot appears as a distant evocation, seemingly emerging from pale blue waves within a deliberately dreamlike universe.

One can also perceive, in a more diffuse way, echoes of the history of painting, particularly through plays of light and shadow evoking certain female figures from the late 19th century.e century, like Berthe Morisot, as depicted by Édouard Manet, notably in Berthe Morisot with a bouquet of violetsThis presence remains suggested, without any intention of direct quotation, like a fleeting trace rather than an explicit reference.
Similarly, the use of color echoes research conducted by artists such as Mark Rothko, particularly in the use of vibrant and enveloping tones, as in Orange and Yellowwithout, however, referring to it literally.
The images thus evoke different artistic universes, creating a slight disconnect between fiction and reality. This project is above all a sensitive exploration, where fashion becomes a pretext for conveying an atmosphere, an emotion, a state of mind.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with makeup artist and hair stylist Ludovic Cadeo, as well as with the fashion houses Yves Salomon, Statement, and Giuseppe Zanotti. Together, we created an editorial with aquatic and almost surreal accents, where blur and colored filters are a deliberate aesthetic choice, serving a soft and introspective vision.
