In House Blend: Lace as a backbone

In House Blend is a young Parisian women's ready-to-wear brand, born with the ambition to reinvent the professional wardrobe without sacrificing boldness or comfort. The brand draws inspiration from the energy of cities that never sleep: Paris, London, New York, and Tokyo. It creates hybrid pieces, somewhere between formal and festive, where leather and chains meet lace and clean lines.

In the brand's latest collection, everything stems from this graceful motif: a large-scale filet lace, designed like an engraving: flowers, garlands, and almost heraldic arabesques. It is the raw material of the entire collection.

The most iconic piece is the wrap skirt: a panel of white lace, cut to a point, fastened at the side with a large metal buckle reminiscent of a harness, and extended by a fringe that sweeps down the thigh or calf. Beneath this panel of lace, the brand always incorporates a second layer of fabric. Lace is never worn alone: it is layered, hinting at something else underneath.

The net motif extends into a long garment: a backless dress with a high neckline, entirely covered in this patterned lace, where the lined fabric underneath subtly reveals the silhouette without ever fully exposing it. This demonstrates that the motif works at all scales, from a skirt panel to an entire dress.

Around this lace core, the house has built a more tailored wardrobe: straight-cut black trousers, studded chains at the waist. The rigor of the tailoring highlights the complexity of the net motif, which remains, throughout the collection, the true signature of the brand.

This exacting standard for design is matched by a stricter standard for manufacturing: each piece is conceived and crafted in Paris, in local workshops, produced in limited quantities and often made to order, to avoid overproduction. The fabrics themselves come partly from the end-of-line stock of major luxury houses, "dead stock" selected for its quality, drape, and durability. This allows the brand to combine circularity and excellence, making each piece a rare object as well as a stylistic signature.

What's striking when looking at all the pieces is the consistency of the motif: the same lace recurs, skirt after skirt, dress after dress, always paired with fringe and a lining that changes color. In House Blend takes the idea of filet lace and develops it into a signature instantly recognizable style.
