Allowing two brands to collaborate means inheriting two different areas of expertise to create a visionary product.
From Japanese design studios to Italian workshops and German labels, footwear has become the preferred arena for contemporary collaborations. Whether it's Jil Sander x Puma, Birkenstock x Thibo Denis, Issey Miyake x Camper, UGG x sacai, or Clarks x Sandro, each partnership explores a new way of blending the languages of luxury, design, and comfort. Behind each collaboration lies a common idea: to rethink the step, the body's weight, and the role of style in movement.
Sézane x New Balance

Sézane partners with New Balance for the first time to revisit the silhouette 471 from the American brand, In a spirit of "Parisian chic and American sportswear heritage," the design features an autumnal palette, playing on neutral tones: ecru, brown, navy blue, and camel. It marks a new stage for Sézane, which is investing more fully in the sneaker world by diversifying its offering beyond women's ready-to-wear.
Diesel x Melissa

The Diesel x Melissa shoes are visionary. Launching in mid-July 2025, the collection is based on three major silhouettes: the Quantum Thong (revisited flip-flop), the Quantum Platform (open platform mule) and the Quantum Sneakers X (Closed/gender-neutral sneaker). The design blends Melissa's signature "jelly" aesthetic with Diesel's energy. This collaboration transforms the shoe into a true object of desire.
Sandro x Clarks

The Sandro x Clarks collaboration revisits the iconic Desert boot et Wallabee By combining Clarks' British heritage with Sandro's Parisian chic, each pair embodies a fusion of tradition and modernity, striking a perfect balance between comfort and fashionable style. This capsule collection exemplifies the current trend of "revisited heritage."
Birkenstock x Thibo Denis

The German brand Birkenstock, best known for its iconic cork-soled sandals, is launching its premium "1774" line, dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation of its signature models. To inaugurate this new chapter, the brand invited Thibo Denis—a designer who previously worked at Dior Homme and is now at Louis Vuitton—to create three original silhouettes, revisiting Birkenstock's DNA (comfort, anatomical footbed, cork, and functional design). By infusing the designs with an athletic energy and sneaker-like elements, Thibo Denis brings a distinctly modern touch to the iconic aesthetic of the German brand.
Issey Miyake x Camper

This is the first footwear collaboration between Camper and Issey Miyake, unveiled for the Fall/Winter 2025 season. This creative encounter unites Camper's Mediterranean DNA with the Japanese spirit of the Issey Miyake fashion house. Named "Peu Form," the collection revisits Camper's flagship "Peu" line (the name little (meaning "foot" in Majorcan) through two models. The first is a low shoe that can also be worn as a mule by flattening the heel counter. The second is a wraparound boot devoid of rigid shapes and structure, its suppleness evoking a drape that naturally adapts to the foot.
Sacai x UGG

Officially launched for Fall/Winter 2025, the second collaboration between UGG and Sacai combines UGG's "cozy" heritage (suede, sheepskin, comfort) with Sacai's experimental, layering approach. The central concept is hybridization: blending comfort and luxury, functional silhouette and avant-garde design. Sacai sets the tone—the Japanese brand is known for its mix of cuts and proportions—while UGG contributes its expertise and signature materials. The collaboration emphasizes utility and comfort with hiking shoes and thigh-high boots, while injecting a couture touch and modern style.
Jil Sander x Puma

Jil Sander and Puma resume their dialogue by reinterpreting the mythical King, The stylized luxury version of the football boot that the two brands launched in the late 1990s, recognizable by its fold-over tongue. The two German labels are collaborating a second time, following the design of Simone Bellotti, the current creative director of Jil Sander, to produce the King AvantiThe result blends minimalism and sporting heritage, combining clean lines with a silhouette that draws on football aesthetics. Due to its overwhelming popularity, it sold out almost instantly, and a second edition is planned for March 2026.
Collaborations allow established brands to reinvent themselves and young designers to integrate their visions into time-honored craftsmanship. Between innovation and heritage, the shoe becomes the symbol of a dynamic fashion, rooted in materials yet open to experimentation. These partnerships reflect an era where a brand's strength no longer lies in its isolation, but in its ability to engage in dialogue and merge different worlds to create new icons.
