AESTHÉ, A NEW AESTHETIC SHOWCASE

In 2014, architects Antoine Prax and Romain Freychet decided to create their own multidisciplinary agency and name it G R A M M E. For the past eight years, the creative duo has been imagining multiple projects tackling different fields such as 3D imaging, scenography and design. Whether it's for their new paper furniture collection, in collaboration with Mono Éditions, or their recent architectural project in Saint-Ouen, Romain and Antoine give their creations a gentle, pure poetry that lulls us to sleep. This uniqueness earned them the AJAP prize in 2020, which rewards young European architects and landscape architects. With Aesthé, the two architects tackle a new universe: that of aesthetic medicine.

Located in the^4th arrondissement of Paris, in the heart of the Marais district, the aesthetic medicine center opened its doors recently. The establishment's white façade and the stonework visible through the large windows instantly convey a sense of well-being. For this new project, the architectural firm worked hand in hand with the Architectes des Bâtiments de France and the Compagnons tailleurs de pierre, so as not to damage the original appearance of this singular place. Minimalist yet elegant, the Aesthé center takes on the look of a design gallery, with its decorative objects on display and modernist pieces of furniture. Spread over three floors, the different spaces reveal a play of textures and shapes through the raw materials used, such as wood, stone and ceramics, inviting meditation. Aesthé offers a moment of tranquility amid the hustle and bustle of Paris.
