Each suspended element is an extruded aluminum tube covered with colored stainless steel sleeves. A layer of titanium nitride gives them a reddish hue. To achieve a texture reminiscent of Chinese weaving, the architects collaborated with local artisans and tested several prototypes. The higher the tubes rise, the more diffuse the texture becomes, visually lightening the structure.
