THE ART OF REGENERATION

The Clubhouse Valle San Nicolás, located on the edge of the village of Valle de Bravo in the State of Mexico, brilliantly celebrates its surroundings with a 360° view of the landscape. This geometric structure is the work of Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos. The Mexican architecture firm demonstrates how natural elements, such as mountains and lakes, can converge and connect through architectural design.

The concept behind this project, completed in 2021, is inspired by a boat anchored in the lake, appearing to float. The plan of this circular design is fragmented around its radius, allowing for the creation of different zones separated by reflecting pools. Two rings, inner and outer, serve as open corridors where one can move about and enjoy the view. A central walkway shortens the journey and leads to the main deck, before reaching the infinity pool. The east side comprises a dining area, a barbecue area, a kitchen, and related amenities. The west side features a gym, spa cabins with Jacuzzis, and changing rooms with a steam room and sauna. The cross-laminated timber structure showcases exposed beams and columns, while the interiors employ a palette of natural materials, such as volcanic stone, Kebony wood for the terrace, and American red oak for the roof. A new address for relaxation and well-being to add to your list bucket list, to experience a total connection with the surrounding nature.
