A global platform for local dialogue

Art Dubai 2025 will welcome over 100 galleries from 50 cities, including some 20 exhibiting for the first time. This geographical range reflects the fair's role as a place of discovery and exchange, highlighting artists and regions that are often under-represented. For Pablo del Val, Artistic Director of the event, this diversity embodies the dynamism of Dubai's art scene: "Dubai is the center of the Middle East art market, and our programming fully reflects this energy."

Reinvented flagship sections

Art Dubai Contemporary, bringing together 70 contemporary galleries from five continents, showcases emerging and established artists. This section will include prestigious new exhibitors such as Bortolami (New York) and Cortesi Gallery (Milan). It will celebrate a global vision while remaining rooted in cultural specificities.

Bawwaba, meaning "door" in Arabic, will offer space for solo exhibitions of recent works or those created for the fair. Curated by Mirjam Varadinis, this section will explore themes such as displacement and coexistence, giving voice to artists reflecting on their own experiences of migration.

Art Dubai Modern, co-directed by Magalí Arriola and Nada Shabout, will delve into the little-known narratives of 20th-century modern masters. Artistic and institutional intersections will be explored, revealing fascinating historical perspectives.

Finally, Art Dubai Digital will examine the intersection between art and technology. Curated by Gonzalo Herrero Delicado, this section will reflect on the "technological post-sublime", exploring how technological advances arouse both fascination and anxiety.
