From January 17 to 19, 2025, ART SG will host its third edition at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Marina Bay Sands, as part of Singapore Art Week. With 106 galleries from 30 countries and territories, this fair promises to be one of Southeast Asia's most significant art events. Blending international figures with emerging voices, it highlights the diversity and energy of contemporary art.

Singapore, a cultural capital in the making
As part of Singapore's 60th Independence Day celebrations, ART SG 2025 reflects the rise of a thriving art scene at the crossroads of local traditions and global trends. Magnus Renfrew, co-founder of the fair, emphasizes Singapore's importance as a hub in the Indo-Pacific region. With its strategic role as a cultural center and a dynamic collectors' market, the city embodies a gateway for cross-border artistic exchange.

Prestigious names and local talents to discover
Visitors will be able to admire works presented by world-renowned galleries such as Gagosian, White Cube, and Thaddaeus Ropac, while also discovering emerging Southeast Asian art scenes through galleries like Sullivan+Strumpf (Singapore, Sydney), Richard Koh Fine Art (Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur), and Gajah Gallery (Jakarta, Singapore). This diversity reflects a commitment to a global and regional artistic dialogue, in which Southeast Asia plays a leading role.
The program also highlights collaborations with major cultural partners such as the Bangkok Kunsthalle, which offers an innovative selection of art films and video works around the theme "By Artists, On Artists", or the Delfina Foundation, which explores the philosophical and political dimensions of collecting. The M Art Foundation will focus on contemporary artists through exhibitions and exclusive publications.
A summit organized by Art Outreach will bring together international experts to address current issues in the visual arts. These initiatives will enrich the visitor experience by offering new perspectives on contemporary artistic creation and the cultural dynamics specific to the region.
An immersion in the Singaporean scene
As part of Singapore Art Week, ART SG will be the epicenter of a multitude of artistic activities enlivening the city from January 17 to 26, 2025. Museums, galleries and cultural spaces will host parallel exhibitions, while visits to private collections will offer a privileged perspective on Singapore's artistic wealth.
Shuyin Yang, the fair's director, emphasizes that this event "will showcase Singapore's creative dynamism while fostering exchanges between local and international scenes."
In addition to the galleries, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a world of performances, captivating discussions, and original projects. Among the flagship events is the program “Seeing Forest” Robert Zhao's work at the Singapore Art Museum explores urban ecosystems recreated through human intervention, while the exhibition "Of Milk and Water"The collaboration between artist Pinaree Sanpitak and Michelin-starred chef Ivan Brehm promises a unique multi-sensory experience combining art and gastronomy.
