In High Intimacy, Émilie Marie draws on a visual vocabulary where aquatic, mineral, vegetal and celestial forms meet. Her works highlight a subtle balance between contradictory energies: torment and ecstasy, hardness and fluidity. Her canvases depict passionate emotions, symbolizing the moment when skins brush against each other and desires merge, like the sun and sea kissing at dawn.
On loose canvases or light veils, Émilie Marie works directly on the ground, in a danced movement that lends a palpable sensuality to her creations.
