From November 28 to December 14, 2024, Riyadh hosted a festival where light became poetry. An immersive and unforgettable experience illuminated the soul of the Saudi capital under the theme "Light Years Apart".

Light, a journey beyond borders
From November 28th, Riyadh was adorned with a unique brilliance. Noor Riyadh, the world's largest light art festival, returned for its fourth edition, transforming the capital into an open-air gallery. With over 60 luminous works, the festival offered a magical journey through monumental installations created by Saudi and international artists.
This year, the theme "Light Years Apart" invited visitors to explore light in all its dimensions: artistic, scientific, and spiritual. Spectators, both residents and travelers, were transported to a world where each artwork told a story, illuminated a path, and reinvented the night.

A dream at the heart of Vision 2030
Noor Riyadh has become a celebration of the power of art in urban transformation. Driven by the Riyadh Art Program, one of the flagship projects of Vision 2030, this event reflects the ambition to make this city a global hub of creativity.
His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture, summarized this ambition: “Noor Riyadh is an annual platform that brings together world-renowned artists to inspire and enrich everyone’s lives.” With the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh presents itself as an essential cultural capital, where tradition and modernity coexist in harmony.
When the light becomes a whisper
The workshops, conferences, and community gatherings that accompanied the festival provided an immersive and educational dimension. Whether one wished to explore the secrets of light or simply be captivated by the beauty of the installations, every moment was rich in discovery.
At the helm of this edition, the internationally renowned curator Dr. Alfredo Cramerotti and the talented Saudi curator Dr. Effat Abdullah Faddag orchestrated a unique visual and emotional experience. Each artwork became a point of connection between cultures, ideas, and eras.
Riyadh in a new light
For two weeks, Riyadh was transformed into a city bathed in light, where every street corner revealed a new work of art to discover. Noor Riyadh was an invitation to dream, reflect, and marvel at art and technology.
