A global platform for art and design

With over 200 galleries from 30 countries, ZⓈONAMACO 2025 continues its cosmopolitan commitment by structuring its program into five poles: Arte Contemporáneo, Arte Moderno, Diseño, Foto and Salón del Anticuario. This year's edition highlights the interactions between Mexico's avant-garde and emerging art scenes.

A committed artistic direction

Curated by Direlia Lazo, this edition explores the diversity of artistic practices. ZⓈONAMACO SUR, led by Manuela Moscoso, interrogates postcolonial narratives and the dynamics of the global South, while ZⓈONAMACO EJES, curated by Bernardo Mosqueira, addresses the notion of freedom with landmark works.

In the Arte Moderno section, Esteban King revisits twentieth-century icons and their influence on Latin American art. Cecilia León de la Barra, head of Diseño, highlights design that combines innovation and traditional know-how.

Recognizing talent

The ZⓈONAMACO Awards recognize the most outstanding artists and projects. Among the honors:

Erarta Foundation Award (USD 100,000): given to the most impactful work.

Tequila 1800 Colección: promoting emerging artists.

AXA Art Award: dedicated to Mexican women artists.

Casa Wabi Residency Award: offering an artistic residency in Oaxaca.

A unique musical immersion

Dancing Society® is a unique sound experience featuring Francesco Tristano and Guti. Conceived by Emilia Hernández, this project fuses classical piano and electronic music in an immersive performance.

A bustling city

ZⓈONAMACO goes beyond the fair walls with Art Week ZⓈONAMACO, involving over 90 cultural institutions. Exhibitions and installations take over major venues such as Museo Tamayo, MUAC and Museo Kaluz.
