Close your eyes and open them again: the Santorin restaurant transports you from Marseille to the picturesque little Greek village of Oia perched on a cliff above the Aegean Sea with a wave of a magic wand!

A team of enthusiasts
Santorin, a Greek restaurant in the heart of Marseille, was born from the imagination of Benjamin Aguad, event organizer and creator of unique venues. After a trip to the island of the same name, this instigator of Marseille's nightlife wanted to recreate the convivial atmosphere and inimitable charm of this Cycladic island in the Phocaean city. It's another way to pay homage to the Greek origins of what was once Massalia! After La Cabane des Amis, a wooden terrace where you can eat and drink with your feet in the sand, and La Calanque Blanche, a large holiday home in Les Goudes that elevates seafood, Santorin is the third establishment in the Watsa group. This distinctive dining experience is overseen by Gersende Gueit! After honing her skills in the city's finest hotels, this epicurean and lover of good food now ensures impeccable service in each of her establishments. Welcome to Marseille!

Change of scenery
In the Pointe-Rouge district, simply climb the few steps of an unassuming warehouse and step through the doors adorned with charming mythological frescoes to discover an unexpected gem. In a blue and white setting, this restaurant, as coveted as the island from which it takes its name, keeps summer alive year-round. Offering a breathtaking panorama of the Mediterranean Sea and the Frioul Islands, the establishment boasts a sublime terrace where you can admire one of the city's most beautiful sunsets. A blazing sky whose striking spectacle can be seen outside from April onwards, or inside through the bay windows that grace the space! Our favorite feature? The fifty or so wall niches that house Benjamin's travel treasures! A quirky cabinet of curiosities as décor—we love it!

The taste of the Cyclades right on your plate
At the helm of the restaurant since its opening last July is Chef Jeriel Sebaoun. Drawing inspiration from his travels, he reinterprets Cycladic classics with a modern twist in a menu that changes every three months. The result? Flavorful mezze bursting with sun-kissed flavors, served on Popolo plates adorned with shellfish and crustaceans, accompanied by live Greek music! More than just a culinary journey, it's a total immersion! We highly recommend trying the sea bass gyros served in homemade pita bread, the citrus-infused octopus tentacle, or the... potákiThis crispy breaded feta is drizzled with honey and Kalios olive oil. Those with a sweet tooth will opt for the real Greek yogurt or the bougatsaA filo pastry filled with a semolina pastry cream. Without a doubt, the hardest part will be choosing…
