BETWEEN CONTEMPORARY LUXURY AND MOROCCAN TRADITION
In the Marrakech palm grove, far from the hustle and bustle of the medina, I found a haven where modern luxury blends seamlessly with authentic Moroccan charm. The moment I stepped through the doors of the Park Hyatt, a gentle serenity enveloped me, carried by the scent of orange blossoms and the subtle interplay of light and shadow characteristic of the region's patios.

What struck me first was the harmony between contemporary lines and traditional materials. The tadelakt plaster covering the walls, the subtle sheen of the marble, and the touches of cedar wood bring a soothing elegance to every space. My room, bathed in natural light, was a true haven. The handwoven rugs and local artworks seemed to tell a story, that of a Morocco rich in traditions and open to the world. As I wandered through the corridors, I paused before the works of Mounat Charrat and Khadija Tnana, which add a unique cultural dimension to the experience. More than a hotel, it's an art gallery.
A TABLE WHERE FLAVORS DANCE
At TFAYA restaurant, every bite is a journey. I savored a shoulder of lamb, cooked for eight hours Hargma-style, exceptionally tender and enhanced by Moroccan spices like cumin, coriander, and a hint of ginger. This flavorful dish was accompanied by a smooth and subtly spicy white bean hummus, as well as batbouts—fresh Moroccan pan-fried flatbreads served warm—which complemented every bite. For dessert, the light and airy amlou soufflé transported me with its delicate notes of almonds and argan oil. Each spoonful evoked the finesse and elegance of Moroccan cuisine.
Chef Issam Rhachi and his team brilliantly blend the authenticity of local flavors with a sophistication worthy of the finest international restaurants. In the lounge bar, savoring a glass of Château Roslane white, a Moroccan wine with aromas of citrus and white flowers, while gazing at the Atlas Mountains bathed in the setting sun, becomes an almost meditative experience.

RELAXATION BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
The spa… I could talk about it for hours. It all began in a dimly lit room, where the scents of orange blossom and eucalyptus gently prepared me for the ritual. The hammam, with its enveloping warmth, seemed to melt away all the accumulated fatigue in my muscles. Then came the black soap scrub, a sensation that was both invigorating and relaxing, followed by a ghassoul wrap that left my skin softer than ever. The most memorable moment? The moment I was led to a relaxation room, lying on a heated bed, a fresh mint infusion in hand. It was like floating between two worlds, between body and mind.
A RANGE OF AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCES
What I loved about the Park Hyatt is that the experience extends far beyond the hotel walls. A morning in a hot air balloon over the Atlas Mountains will forever be etched in my memory: watching the sun rise over endless landscapes was breathtakingly beautiful. And that cooking workshop in a Berber house! Grinding spices, smelling the turmeric and cumin waft through the air, then enjoying what I had prepared in the company of a warm and welcoming family… It was one of the most authentic moments of my stay.
The Park Hyatt Marrakech is more than just a hotel. It's an immersion into a world where the high standards of an international luxury brand blend seamlessly with an environment deeply rooted in Moroccan identity. From the meticulous attention to detail and the emphasis on local flavors to the respect for traditions, everything here reflects a commitment to combining consistency and authenticity.
