BELLEVIGNE BURGUNDY THE CONTEMPORARY VERSION OF WINE TOURISM

Following on from La Folie Douce Hôtels and Les Maisons de Campagne, the Les Hôtels (très) Particuliers group is launching a new concept of boutique hotels located in wine-growing regions and imbued with the world of vines and wine, right down to their decoration.

The first opus, Bellevigne Bourgogne, occupies an 18th-century manor house and its outbuildings in the star village of the Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny. Interior designer Jordane Arrivetz was commissioned to "restore the building to its former glory".

"The first part of our work focused on the architectural approach. We had to create openings, clear spaces with a strong identity, and then find elements to give relief to each room and a few surprises linked to the wine," sums up the founder of the Notoire agency. As a result, the 37 bedrooms and their bathrooms come in shades of blue, green and red, the colors of the vineyards. Carpets and armchairs are covered with vine leaves and bunches of grapes.

Wine tastings take place in vaulted cellars magnified by Burgundy stone, around an incredible sculptural wooden table designed by Jordane Arrivetz, or in the intimacy of the bar, where a fine collection of antique decanters is on display. The lobby doubles as a wine library, and the lounge with its meursault-red bookcases features a selection of fine books on oenology and the region.

Subtly elegant, warm and friendly, the Hotel Bellevigne Bourgogne cultivates a family spirit of joy and festivity, in the midst of one of the world's most prestigious wine-growing regions. With the added bonus of a gourmet restaurant and terrace, an outdoor swimming pool and soon a spa. A destination for epicureans, to be enjoyed in all seasons.
