KEA RETREAT ISLAND RETIREMENT

Seeking meaning and passionate about Greek culture, Israeli restaurateur Zviki Eshet and his wife, therapist Anat, opened this 8-room boutique hotel last summer on the Cycladic island closest to Athens and one of the archipelago's most unspoiled. To manage the kitchen and the farm, they brought their two sons into the project: Yoni for the operational side, and Uriel, a Michelin-starred chef.

In this healthy and peaceful setting, an ode to slow tourism, they offer week-long retreats with a variety of experiences, some of them unique. Yoga (vinyasa, kundalini, yin…), meditation, and dance form the basis of their tailor-made programs. Hypnotherapy, therapeutic breathing, healing mandalas, sharing circles under the stars, and outdoor activities such as kayaking or hikes through fields are also included.
