In southern Puglia, nestled among centuries-old olive trees and whitewashed villages, Maison Manara embodies the very essence of Italy: a sense of timelessness, the warmth of natural materials, and the understated elegance of a home designed for sharing. Conceived by Clara and Mikka Rocchia, this luminous haven blends local charm, contemporary comfort, and a welcoming, family atmosphere.

In Castiglione d'Otranto, near the sea, the house seems to float in a dream. Inside, there are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a central courtyard where lemon trees stand guard over a white above-ground pool. The carefully curated and personal décor blends vintage furniture, Italian craftsmanship, flea market finds, and graphic touches. It feels like a beloved home, where nothing is left to chance, yet everything exudes simplicity.
Designed to accommodate up to nine guests, Maison Manara offers a complete experience: high-end amenities, children's games, paddleboarding, handcrafted tableware, linen sheets, and a video projector for movie nights under the stars. This year, a large, secure rooftop terrace has been added, transforming it into a summer screening room.

The village itself is a treasure. Between swims at Tricase Porto, ten minutes away, you can stroll through the narrow streets, chat with the locals, and savor a Typical Italian cake with custard cream filling or an iced almond coffee. Castiglione is alive all year round: farmers' market, festival of lights in winter, Notte Verde agricultural festival in August. A strong local connection that gives the experience a genuine flavor.
But what makes Maison Manara unique is undoubtedly the attention to detail: welcome basket, personalized address book, playlist designed by Mikka, shared library, collaborative recipe book… More than a house, the hosts convey a way of life, a vision of hospitality, a living memory of Southern Italy.
Perfect for families, groups of friends, or couples seeking tranquility, Maison Manara is not a place to pass through: it's a precious interlude. A house of the heart, to be lived in slowly. To be loved deeply.
