Close your eyes and open them again: the Santorini restaurant transports you from Marseille to the picturesque Greek village of Oia, perched on a cliff above the Aegean Sea, with a wave of its magic wand!

A team of enthusiasts
A Greek restaurant in the heart of Marseille, Santorin is the brainchild of Benjamin Aguad, event organizer and creator of atypical venues. After a trip to the eponymous island, this agitator of Marseilles nightlife wanted to reproduce the friendly atmosphere and inimitable charm of this Cycladic island in the city of Marseille. Another way of paying tribute to the Greek origins of what was once Massalia! Following on from Cabane des Amis, a wooden terrace where you can eat and drink with your feet in the sand, and Calanque Blanche, a large vacation home in Les Goudes that sublimates fish, Santorin is the third establishment in the Watsa group. A unique dining experience under the leadership of Gersende Gueit! Having cut her teeth in some of the city's finest hotels, this epicurean and lover of good food now ensures an impeccable welcome in each of her establishments. Welcome to Marseille!

Change of scenery
In the Pointe-Rouge district, all you have to do is climb the few steps into an unpretentious hangar and pass through doors adorned with pretty mythological frescoes to discover an unsuspected jewel box. In a decor of blue and white, this restaurant, as coveted as the island from which it takes its name, keeps summer alive in all seasons. Offering a breathtaking panorama of the Mediterranean Sea and the Frioul Islands, the address hides a sublime terrace from which to admire one of the city's most beautiful sunsets. From April onwards, you can enjoy the breathtaking view outside, or inside through the bay windows! The editor's favorite? The fifty or so wall niches that house Benjamin's travel treasures! A motley cabinet of curiosities, we love it!

A taste of the Cyclades on your plate
Chef Jeriel Sebaoun has been at the helm of the restaurant since it opened last July. Drawing inspiration from his travels, he revisits Cycladic classics with a modern twist, in a menu that is renewed every quarter. The result? Delicious mezzés with sun-drenched flavors served on Popolo plates decorated with shellfish, to the sound of Greek music sometimes played live! More than just a taste journey, a total immersion! We strongly recommend you try the wolf gyros served in a homemade pita, the octopus tentacle with citrus fruit or the saganáki, crispy breaded feta drizzled with honey and Kalios olive oil. Those with a sweet tooth will be tempted by real Greek yoghurt or bougatsa, a filo pastry filled with a semolina pastry cream. The hardest part will undoubtedly be choosing...
