BY STUDIO HALLEROED
Design studio Halleroed continues to surprise with its boutiques for ready-to-wear brand Acne Studios. Sometimes brutalist, sometimes futuristic, each space is like a play in several acts. Take a tour.
Christian and Ruxandra Halleröd have imagined a new concept of the luxury boutique, where design reigns supreme. The boutique becomes a gallery where everything becomes contemplative: from a simple coffee table to the latest trendy pumps. An opportunity for Acne Studios to unveil its world in a matter of seconds. Halleroed called on the creativity of Max Lamb. Denim armchairs, fabric-covered televisions, stainless steel racks and shelves... The British designer was able to harmoniously blend heterogeneous elements within the same space. Known for his primitive furniture pieces, Lamb is an expert when it comes to taming materials. Recycled cardboard, polystyrene, wool...
Everything is a pretext for creating a functional work of art.

ELEGANT MINIMALISM
The interiors of the many Acne Studios boutiques extend outwards through the vast openings that make up their facades. From ivory-colored carpets to beige stone walls, visitors are enveloped in protective bubbles, each with its own identity. The layout has been designed to display garments like works of art. Blurring the boundaries between fashion, design and art. Proof that the architecture of emptiness can also be elegant.
