Price f(x), workspaces in Minecraft mode

Czech-based design studio Collcoll has extended Price f(x)'s offices in response to the changes in working habits brought about by digitalization. The creative team added a floor during the pandemic, keeping with the theme of industrialism, with a contemporary twist.

The two floors are linked by an aesthetic and technological structure inspired by the game Minecraft. Composed of thousands of wooden pixels, it modulates the space. The design works thanks to a control system that measures and evaluates environmental data in real time: the spectrum of space allows the entire floor to be physically divided, while the spectrum of comfort is materialized by selected, custom-designed furniture.

At its heart is an internal staircase and, for the more adventurous, a tubular slide. The lighting interface also functions as a screen controlled down to individual pixels (LEDs), which is projected onto the bar counter, serving at the same time as a reception area. The lower floor is at once a meeting place, a relaxation area and a multifunctional conference room, with a shared kitchen and an interactive bar.

The corridors have been replaced by a lounge area, complete with punching bag and pool table. In this way, Collcoll continues to reflect the company's image, magnifying the whole with neutral tones, punctuated with color, and nourished by indoor plants.
