Price f(x), Minecraft-style workspaces

The Czech Republic-based design studio Collcoll expanded the Price f(x) offices to accommodate the changing work habits brought about by digitalization. The creative team added a floor during the pandemic, maintaining the industrial theme with a contemporary twist.

The two floors are thus linked by a structure aesthetically and technologically inspired by the game Minecraft. Composed of thousands of wooden pixels, it modulates the space. The design functions thanks to a control system that measures and evaluates environmental data in real time: the spectrum of space allows the entire floor to be physically divided, while the spectrum of comfort is materialized by selected and custom-designed furniture.

Inside, there's an interior staircase and, for the more adventurous, a tube slide. The lighting interface also functions as a screen controlled down to the individual pixel (LED), projecting onto the bar counter, which also serves as a reception area. The lower level functions as a meeting place, relaxation area, and multifunctional conference room, with a communal kitchen and an interactive bar.

As for the corridors, they have been replaced by a lounge area, equipped with a punching bag and a pool table. Collcoll thus continues to reflect the company's image, enhancing the whole space with neutral tones, punctuated with colors, and enriched by indoor plants.
