Fashion designer Chet Lo and furniture brand Rankin Editions join forces for a spicy, sculptural collection that includes a sofa, chairs and cushions.

Transforming interiors into immersive art experiences is the credo of Chet Lo and Rankin Editions with their viscerally energetic collection. British designer and art director Amber Rankin has made a name for herself with her avant-garde furniture and bold concepts, which also function as functional art. She continues in this vein.
Today, it calls on the expertise of Chet Lo, an Asian-American fashion designer based in London, whose signature style combines art and technology. This collaboration combines Chet Lo's cutting-edge textile aesthetics with Rankin Editions' furniture silhouettes. An original range that pushes the limits of creativity by blending texture and functionality.

Accessorize interiors
The chaise longue, adorned with Chet Lo's signature spikes, is a compact structure that blends comfort with geometric aesthetics. The sofa is inspired by the movement of waves, combining soft curves and spiky surfaces. The cushions, also shaped like spikes, add their textured, playful touch to spaces. Chet Lo and Amber Rankin also offer an eye-catching palette of red, navy and white.
"We wanted to create pieces that don't just sit in a space, but transform it," explains Chet Lo, adding, "The points evoke strength and individuality, while the Rankin Editions silhouettes bring functionality and modernism. Together, the designs challenge the way we perceive furniture."

Successful merger
And make no mistake about it! The tips and spikes are designed with comfort in mind, to strike "a balance between visual drama and ease of use". The silhouettes, meanwhile, are based on existing Rankin Editions models.
The pieces are handmade to order in the UK by local artisans. Each one combines "the visceral and the practical" to better reflect Chet Lo and Amber Rankin's avant-garde ethos. "This collaboration isn't just about furniture; it's about telling a story through design," insists the British designer once again.

This collection, available since January 9, 2025, boldly and dynamically explores the potential of form, texture and art in interior spaces.
