PRIMO, LÉA ZÉROIL'S FIRST WORK

Upon obtaining his diploma in textile and object design At ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres, Léa Zéroil worked alongside renowned designers and architects such as India Mahdavi and Laura Gonzalez. For four years, she honed her skills, which led her to launch her own design studio in 2020. Nobilis, Sézane, and Dior Maison are among the brands for which Léa now designs pieces that reflect her own aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from the work of Antti Lovag, the Hungarian architect specializing in Bubble Houses and organic architecture, as well as from the modernist movement, the designer envisions Primo – “first” in Italian –, A stool with warm, curved lines, available in seven colors..

The "Croisé Collobrières" fabric by Pierre Frey is applied to the cushion, which is supported by two curved wooden blades. According to the designer, this textile piece is "laden with history."

Using thin layers of glossy lacquer, the wooden structure – made in Portugal – gives off a certain chromatic intensity and highlights the unique shapes of this piece of furniture.

"The The creation of Primo was made possible because I had the opportunity to design the furniture for the Oh My Cream spa on Rue de Saintonge in Paris. The staff loved it. This commission allowed me to move from 2D drawing to reality.

Primo gives off a halo of light identical to the sun setting on the warm beaches of the Mediterranean.
