The Stockholm-based audio brand adds a beautiful piece of sculptural design to its catalog, paying homage to brutalism and combining aesthetic sophistication and technical simplicity for all sound and music lovers.

For twelve years, Transparent, founded by Martin Willers, Per Brickstad and Magnus Wiberg, has continued to challenge the standards of the technology industry with its collection of minimalist, original and innovative loudspeakers. Their motto? To work for a future where technology inspires, not expires. Its new high-performance design is no exception. The Brutalist loudspeaker is a tribute to the post-war architectural movement inherited from the UK. Innovation and reinvention, modularity and durability are the watchwords here. "It's exciting to bring this legendary style into people's homes and bring the worlds of architecture and design closer together," confided Per Brickstad, Creative Director at Transparent, on its release.

Remarkable audio engineering
This 12-kilogram centerpiece, made from 70% post-consumer recycled aluminum, thus combines form and function, while offering acoustic properties that guarantee an optimal audio experience. Two 3" tweeters are positioned at 90 degrees to diffuse sound more effectively, with a bass-reflex design for a massive, clear and balanced low-frequency soundstage.
Its dual-band wifi (2.4 + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity comes from the WiiM Mini streamer. This small, versatile network player delivers smooth, seamless playback, enhancing listening experiences on music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Tidal and Amazon Music. It is discreetly inserted into a compartment dedicated to modules without a hardware link, and can be integrated with other stereo or multi-room wireless speaker systems.

A monument to sound and design
In addition to its advanced functionality and stylish design, the Brutalist loudspeaker also offers a number of acoustic subtleties, not least its reverberation. When placed in the corner of a room, its singular configuration allows sound to bounce off adjacent walls, creating an even more immersive soundscape.
Transparent continues to masterfully redefine high-fidelity home audio, enhancing both the listening experience and the living space. As Per Brickstad puts it: "It's more than just a loudspeaker. It's a monument of sound that invites the listener on a great adventure."
This beautiful object has been available on the brand's website since November 25, 2024 at a price of 3,800 euros.
