A timeless, enduring collection that homeowners, interior designers and architects can combine with the brand's fabrics to their heart's content!

NOBILIS, OVER 90 YEARS OF CREATION, PASSION AND EXPERTISE

Established in 1928 as a family-run business, Nobilis has made a name for itself on the decorating scene through its textile editions, acclaimed by decorators and architects the world over. From a small wallpaper boutique a stone's throw from the Beaux-Arts in Paris, the brand has evolved considerably. Plain and printed fabrics, tableware, tufted, woven or hand-knotted rugs: Nobilis has gradually become part of a global decorating logic. Spearheading the French art of living, the company extended its expertise to a furniture collection in the 1990s. The result of prestigious collaborations with renowned designers such as Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Éric Schmitt and Christian Liaigre, these furniture ranges embrace resolutely eclectic universes and styles, depending on the Nobilis fabrics they are upholstered in. For 2024, the brand has teamed up with Léa Zeroil to bring to life a whole line of sofas, armchairs, poufs and meridiennes to coordinate with the Nobilis textile repertoire. A successful collaboration!

LÉA ZEROIL, A HERITAGE OF SOLAR DESIGN

A graduate of the Duperré and Olivier de Serres schools of applied arts, Léa Zeroil first cut her teeth as an art director before founding her own interior design studio in 2020. In addition to the decors and furniture she designs for hotels, restaurants and boutiques, she also imagines patterns and prints that she lends to upholstery fabric publishers, foremost among them Nobilis. A workaholic, the young woman doesn't hesitate to explore all creative territories by designing her own collection of objects and furniture. A range of original pieces imbued with authenticity, paying tribute to the skills of exceptional craftsmen! Drawing her inspiration from the countries of the Mediterranean, in her design she cultivates the nuances of the sunsets of her beloved Corsica, the prints of Moroccan craftsmanship that her father imported, and the mythology of the countries that have filled her with wonder. And it's undoubtedly this longing for elsewhere that led Nobilis to entrust her with the design of its new collection.

A WARM AND SINGULAR ART OF LIVING WITH DEEP COLORS

To compose her seating wardrobe, Léa Zeroil has imagined an elegant range of furniture whose expressive curves and organic shapes are transformed by fabrics from the French publisher. Each sofa, each armchair, each pouffe and the meridienne round off the angles to shape a world of soft, voluptuous lines that reflect her style. Like the Nevada sofa, with its fluid, sculptural lines echoing the roundness of a pebble. Or the enveloping Pétale sofa, whose back opens like a corolla. Behind the references to interiors from the 1930s, 1970s and 1980s that can be glimpsed, Léa Zeroil skilfully renews forms, codes and customs in a fiercely contemporary spirit. Thanks to her meticulously crafted details, she creates warm, refined and timeless pieces of furniture whose allure and aura set a living space apart. Each piece is designed to suit any interior. In the end, it's the Nobilis fabrics that, by dressing the rooms, transform the spaces in which they are placed. It's a great way to make a model your own, to embody it and to compose different stories! What's yours?
