Located at 9 rue du Vertbois, Guefen is the first restaurant of Israeli chef Ohad Amzallag. Inside, he aimed to recreate a convivial atmosphere reminiscent of his home in Tel Aviv. Above all, it's an experience of sharing where gastronomy takes center stage. Let's explore.
For twenty-five years, Ohad Amzallag worked in renowned Israeli restaurants such as Topolopompo. He also had a notable stint at Shouk, a culinary establishment known for its legendary hummus, located near the Canal Saint-Martin. After seventeen years as a head chef for other establishments, he finally decided to open his very first restaurant.

The dishes on the menu pay homage to the Mediterranean, with a range of carefully selected seafood. From oyster cream with mint granita to lobster medallions dusted with truffle, the chef's culinary creations combine precision and innovation. To enhance most of his dishes, Ohad Amzallag pays particular attention to fermentation.
Two rooms, two atmospheres. Inside the restaurant, a long table faces the kitchen, inviting guests to have a front-row seat to this culinary spectacle. On the other side, a large marble table encourages conversation and sharing. The light stone wall blends seamlessly with the wooden ceiling. A decor that feels just like home.
