Art Basel is a new crossroads between Art and Fashion.

Art Basel is the unmissable event for art lovers. A massive platform connecting artists and art enthusiasts, it takes place under the glass roof of the Grand Palais from October 24th to 26th, 2025. 206 galleries, including 63 based in France, participate. Today, Art Basel has become more than just a gathering of artists and designers; it showcases curatorial projects initiated by luxury houses and high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and K-Way.

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton has created a sensation with a gigantic installation of a colorful octopus, reminiscent of Takashi Murakami's universe. An eight-meter-long octopus, its tentacles stretching across the space, has been transformed into a monumental installation. Part of the Grand Palais has been specially designed to allow this octopus to emerge from the walls and showcase Louis Vuitton's latest "Artycapucines VII" series, a collaboration with the Japanese artist. Artycapucines is a series of consecutive collections that allow artists from all backgrounds to offer their unique interpretations of the iconic Capucine bag. The theme focuses on Murakami's childhood and archives, reflecting his awareness of the profound impact society has on our individuality. He playfully expresses the fear of being observed by appropriating the symbol of the octopus and its eye on one of the bags in the collection. The ten other creations pay homage to Murakami's historical motifs. The nod to their first collaboration, Takashi Murakami's "Monogram Multicolore," blends pop culture and craftsmanship. Takashi Murakami explores whimsical and colorful worlds with three iconic motifs: the "multicolored monogram," the "cherry monogram," and the "monogramouflage." A spherical bag covered in flowers borders on sculpture. The collection is eclectic, its techniques piquing our curiosity: thermoformed leather, fur, spherical sculpture, painting, trompe l'oeil, silvered brass and rhinestones, gold leaf, 3D printing… The 7th edition of "Artycapucines" delves into a fantastical universe imbued with symbols and rigorous techniques to transform fashion into a vehicle for artistic innovation.

The performance gives artistic visibility to women's childhood, middle age, and death by exploring stories written around desire, work, memory, and remembrance. The blizzard, a violent wind accompanied by snow and capable of reaching impressive speeds, is a clear metaphor for the collaboration of 30 women, each brimming with audacity and creativity. K way

Born 60 years ago, K-way is celebrating its anniversary in a playful and intellectual way. "In Y/Our Life" is an exhibition that welcomes visitors to the heart of an artistic experience, bringing together 14 artists and 13 brands around the theme of memory and K-way's founding values. Those curious can attend talks, explore installations and performances, and participate in workshops, such as personalizing their own K-way. The talks delve into the theme of everyday life and how it shapes our lives. The initiative celebrates artists who reinvent habits, such as Francesca Casale, an olfactory artist who presents a work designed to stimulate the sense of smell; Eva Jospin, who composes arboreal and architectural landscapes; and Patricia Urquiola, an architect and designer who donates unique pieces resulting from artistic collaborations. Other guests at this exhibition are our everyday brands, such as Bic, Moon Boot, Polaroid, and Scotch. The program runs for three days, from October 23 to 26, 2025.
