Once again, Cartier has created a surprise with the presentation of its new "Beautés du monde" high jewelry collection in June. The precious creations were displayed in Madrid, in the former British Embassy, with its Brutalist architecture. And to showcase them to best advantage, the French brand entrusted the scenography to artist and designer Jaime Hayon. For the Spaniard, the challenge was to create a volume in keeping with both the site's radical circular architecture and the collection's organic forms. Each space is distinguished by its gemstone-inspired tonality, while the showcases in which they are housed recall the natural forms of the collection. With this scenography, Jaime Hayon has created a veritable jewel box.
