Known for his work with Louis Vuitton, Alessi, Stellar Works and Herman Miller, Australian designer Tom Fereday offers a project in line with the ecological challenges of our time, designed from recycled aluminum.
Fascinated by the tension that exists between natural materials and contemporary design and manufacturing, Tom Fereday develops unique designs stemming from an intrinsic inquiry into the role of objects today.
An exercise he repeats with his series " Cove Entirely molded, this armchair, table, and sofa were crafted from recycled cast aluminum sourced from machine waste. Their arched silhouettes were created using a handcrafted sand-casting process. With their mirror-like finish, the furniture frames celebrate the natural beauty of aluminum. This unique, cool material evokes an industrial aesthetic, contrasting with the soft leather that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Named "Cove", the collection owes its name to the radical curve that encapsulates the ends of each piece, referencing the minimal forms of architecture.
This limited edition collection is also expected to be released next year in solid wood, instead of aluminum, and will be produced by the Australian brand Nau.
