A handcrafted expression of Studio Chloé Nègre, Laclaux was born from the encounter between the sophisticated world of interior architect and designer Chloé Nègre and the creative vision of interior architect and designer François-Xavier Fonbonnat. Conceived as a place where objects carry a memory, a present, and a future, the design house showcases elegant, timeless furniture pieces, always marked by Chloé Nègre's distinctive originality and inimitable style. Working closely with a variety of exceptional artisans on all her projects, this graduate of the Camondo school has dedicated herself to creating enduring objects that transcend eras, perpetuate traditional skills, and contribute to the preservation of fine furniture.
“At dusk,” another definition of elegance and timelessness
To bring Laclaux's new collection, "At Dusk," to life, Chloé Nègre drew inspiration from her travels to the city of Grand-Bassam in Ivory Coast. In an intuitive, emotionally driven approach, the designer sought to capture the sensory and aesthetic impact she experienced. From the blazing Ivorian sun, the faded facades, and the vibrant colors of handcrafted motifs emerged 11 new pieces, like a new decorative language. Each piece oscillates between the raw nature of the materials and the delicacy of the textures. Solid bronze sits alongside natural fibers, deep tones respond to earthy, vivid, or iridescent hues, in a constant dialogue between elegance and timelessness! We're particularly smitten with the sofa. After Club, Upholstered in a Manuel Canovas fabric, a paprika-colored cotton and linen blend, ample and enveloping, which seems to capture the warmth lingering in the shade… Or perhaps for the coffee table Moonlit, natural curved rattan topped with a smoked mirrored tray that unfolds like a talisman, opening delicately to slip in treasures and bottles.

Presented within the Apartment-Showroom, located in the heart of the Palais-Royal district in Paris, the Laclaux furniture collection sits alongside a selection of artworks in a living space conceived as a residential project. Within the walls of this former Haussmannian apartment, enlivened by subtle touches of color, Chloé Nègre has infused all her creativity and the expertise of her studio to elevate these timeless furniture lines. Far from cold and impersonal showrooms, the Apartment-Showroom reveals a unique identity: that of a space where furniture becomes an experience, a journey between aesthetics and ethics. Here, Laclaux creations are free to engage visitors, whispering in their ears a new way of living and experiencing their living spaces…
