It was in 2008, in Moscow, that Dmitry Ivanov founded the Reutov Design studio with the firm intention of shaking up the codes of classic design and interior architecture. Very quickly, the studio tackled various renovation projects in the hotel, restaurant, and private interior sectors. The editorial team ofAcumen chose to focus on three of these creations made in New York, Barcelona and Ibiza.

New York: A kiss from nature
This apartment offers a moment of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of New York. The beauty of nature is showcased on the terracotta walls, with numerous green plants and a depiction of a cactus in the various colored columns, creating a symbiosis that is both exhilarating and welcoming. Drawing heavily on Mexican architecture, Dmitry plays with textures and shapes in the furniture, both in the living room and in the sleeping area, which is separated by a green arched door.
Barcelona: A nail salon designed like a space station
The interior designer transformed this charming old Barcelona building into a cutting-edge nail salon, conceived as a space station. Every detail, like the gradients of purple, green, and blue, accentuates the vaults and curves of this futuristic space. A new world unfolds within, thanks in particular to the decorative objects displayed like works of art. Executed with panache, the unique shapes of the custom-made furniture—crafted in both plexiglass and aluminum—were entirely designed by the Reutov Design studio.
Ibiza: futuristic apartment
Like a dive into the Atlantic Ocean, the apartment designed by Dmitry Ivanov reveals the surrounding nature of Ibiza, Spain. Pop colors and futuristic shapes invite you on a journey where nature and humankind exist in harmony. This 300-square-meter haven showcases numerous iconic furniture pieces, such as the Bowy Sofa by Patricia Urquiola, created for Cassina. Terrazzo, glass, and marble contribute to the sought-after minimalist aesthetic. Inside, a feeling of serenity pervades the space, thanks to the natural light that floods every room.
