Max André and Jordan Jacob are at the helm of the André Jacob studio. It was with "AJ Domestico", their first collection of objects, that the duo made a name for themselves in the world of design.
Through their diverse functional works, the two designers reveal the intimate relationship that humans have with objects. Eager to highlight the beauty of everyday moments, the design studio strives to tell a poetic story in each of its creations.

The collection revolves around a single material: metal. At the crossroads of craftsmanship and brutalism, "AJ Domestico" explores the unique characteristics of this surprising material. The singularity of the forms is an ode to the informal art of the Argentinian painter and sculptor Lucio Fontana.
Thus, the candlestick is gradually submerged by the wax that drips down its metal lines. This allows the object to be seen differently, embracing an element of chance. The chainmail, meanwhile, seems straight out of the medieval era and serves as a comforting blanket. An object that stands out from the rest of the pieces in the series.

A debut collection with a frank beauty and aesthetic that defines Max André and Jordan Jacob as pioneers in their field.
