At the helm of Bemelmans Design is Wout, a young man passionate about 1950s furniture. Through "BOLD," his first collection, past and present engage in a harmonious dialogue. The armchair and stool, crafted from recycled wood, are adorned with Danish rope woven according to the traditional techniques of mid-20th-century craftsmanship. The coffee table's top, meanwhile, is composed of four rectangular ceramic tiles. Sometimes durable, sometimes customizable, the structure of the removable seats can be changed over the years. The "BOLD" collection was created to re-establish a profound connection between people and furniture.
