NOBILIS, OVER 90 YEARS OF CREATION, PASSION AND EXPERTISE
Founded in 1928, Nobilis, a family business, has established itself in the world of interior design through its textile collections, acclaimed by decorators and architects worldwide. From its humble beginnings as a small wallpaper shop near the Beaux-Arts in Paris, the brand has evolved considerably. From plain and printed fabrics to tableware and hand-tufted, woven, or knotted rugs, Nobilis has gradually embraced a holistic approach to interior design. A leading example of the French art of living, the company extended its expertise to a furniture collection in the 1990s. Born from prestigious collaborations with renowned designers such as Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Éric Schmitt, and Christian Liaigre, these furniture ranges encompass a diverse range of styles and aesthetics, each reflecting the unique Nobilis fabrics they feature. For 2024, the brand partnered with Léa Zeroil to create a whole line of sofas, armchairs, poufs, and chaise longues to coordinate with Nobilis's textile collection. A successful collaboration!
LÉA ZEROIL, A SOLAR DESIGN HERITAGE
A graduate of the Duperré and Olivier de Serres schools of applied arts, Léa Zeroil first honed her skills as an art director before founding her own interior design studio in 2020. Beyond the decor and furniture she designs for hotels, restaurants, and boutiques, she creates patterns and prints that she lends to fabric manufacturers, most notably Nobilis. A workaholic, this young woman doesn't hesitate to explore all avenues of creation by designing her own collection of objects and furniture. A range of original pieces imbued with authenticity, paying homage to the expertise of exceptional artisans! Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean countries, she cultivates in her designs the nuances of sunsets in her beloved Corsica, the prints of Moroccan crafts that her father imported, and the mythology of the countries that have captivated her. And it is probably this desire for something different that led Nobilis to entrust him with the design of its new collection.

A warm and unique way of life with deep colors
To create her seating collection, Léa Zeroil conceived an elegant range of furniture whose expressive curves and organic forms are transformed by the fabrics of the French manufacturer. Each sofa, armchair, pouf, and chaise longue softens its edges to create a world of soft, voluptuous lines that are characteristic of her style. Take, for example, the Nevada sofa, with its fluid, sculptural lines that echo the roundness of a pebble. Or the enveloping Pétale sofa, whose back opens like a corolla. Behind the subtle references to interiors of the 1930s, 1970s, and 1980s, Léa Zeroil skillfully reinvents forms, codes, and uses with a fiercely contemporary spirit. Thanks to its meticulously crafted details, it designs warm, refined, and timeless furniture pieces whose style and aura distinguish a living space. Each piece has been designed to adapt to any interior. Ultimately, it is the Nobilis fabrics that, by adorning the pieces, transform the spaces they inhabit. A beautiful way to make a design your own, to embody it, and to create different stories! And you, what will yours be?
