MATTER IN THE SERVICE OF EMOTION
Project 213A is the story of four friends who love Portuguese craftsmanship. They decided to set up their woodworking and ceramics workshop in Portugal, working hand in hand with local artisans.
Sustainability is at the heart of their concerns. As such, Jurgita, Teresa, Maria, and Clément are working to imagine a new design process where emotion guides their various creations, ensuring they last forever. The Foot stool is a prime example. Part human, part seat, this wooden creation is no longer considered a purely functional piece, but rather a companion to take everywhere. For the design of the Mirror chaise longue, the four designers of the studio...
are inspired by the Brutalist movement of the 20th century. Like a chameleon, the geometric artwork conceals itself in the space around it using
of its multiple mirrors.

As part of the Maison&Objet In The City 2024 event, the quartet exhibited their unusual furniture in Paris, thus marking their debut
in the French capital. An opportunity to discover their signature pieces, as well as their latest creations, notably the Porto modular sofa upholstered in metallic faux leather. A cutting-edge piece not to be missed.
