Sara Degenaar and Bienke Domenie form the duo behind Forever Studio. Represented by the Vasto gallery in Barcelona, the two designers have a particular affinity for materiality. There's only a small step between design and experimentation, a step they've taken brilliantly. A closer look.
It all began in Rotterdam. The two young designers met and set up their workshop in this city in the south of the Netherlands. Forever Studio is dedicated to showcasing the work of artisans, particularly those from local industry. The duo aims to reveal in their creations the creative process that gives birth to each one.

Material reuse
Like researchers, the designers focus on the inherent potential of the materials used, including resin, aluminum, and polished stainless steel – components of their creations, which can reach up to 3 meters in height. Their principle is to design distinctive furniture pieces that integrate seamlessly into various interior styles. Available only by special order, the lighting fixtures Beamthe shelf Mesh or even the mirror pose are a perfect example of this.
The duo recently unveiled Take it easy, Its steel daybed. Characterized by pink, yellow, and red resin panels—reclaimed from previous creations—the piece of furniture intrigues as much as it fascinates. Through this initiative, Forever Studio reveals the values that underpin its work: promoting design that is both thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing.
