Polish photographer and visual artist Natalia Klimza immerses us in her abstract, surreal and impressionistic universe where a multicolored and multiform human energy radiates.

Natalia Klimza is among the emerging talents of contemporary art and fashion photography. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland, and holding a master's degree in interior architecture, she found her true calling behind the lens after a stint in modeling and styling. Her portfolio has since showcased the raw, natural beauty of the human form. This young virtuoso transcends conventions, eliminating social constructs to better reveal the essence of humanity.

In her creative language, she intertwines abstraction, surrealism, and impressionism, expressing her own emotions and experiences through a play of colors, lines, geometric shapes, and artistic blurs. Her editorial work has garnered considerable attention and has been published in magazines such as L'Officiel Baltic, Schön!, and Aesthetica. Her two most recent series are highlighted here for their vibrant, colorful, luminous, and painterly sensibility.

BODY IN SUBSTANCE

Landscape and still life are equally central to her visual explorations. For Contributor, she creates a dialogue between the fluidity of living organisms and the colorless, transparent, and odorless liquid that forms seas, lakes, rivers, and rain. Her project Planetary Systems, created with fruits and vegetables, seems to have stepped straight out of a Joan Miró painting.
For K Mag, she offers yet another perspective by examining the final episode of Euphoria's first season. She artistically interprets the HBO show's themes, which explore the lives and tumultuous emotions of teenagers. In particular, she focuses on the euphoria experienced by Zendaya's character, which she chooses to distort, giving it a more positive slant.

In 2023, Natalia Klimza published her first photography book, Behind an Impression (Snap Collective Publishing). Across more than 140 pages, she showcases the breadth of her eclectic approaches. She explores the extraction of forms and colors, the essence of humanity in its inner world, its emotions, its scent, and the sensual energy that shapes a woman's identity through body language and gesture.
