Belmond, a flagship of luxury since acquiring the Hôtel Cipriani in 1976, has chosen publishing and photography as its new narratives of travel. Belmond positions itself as a preserver of emotions, transforming a stay into a work of art on paper where time, finally, stands still. There is a form of luxury that is expressed neither by marble nor gold, but by the precision of a gaze. Belmond understood this: to tell the story of its 43 properties across 24 countries, it was necessary to call upon artists. Here are three projects that, between the grain of film and local flavors, redefine the art of travel.

La Collection As Seen By
It's an encounter between heritage and the contemporary eye. In collaboration with the Parisian publisher RVB Books, Belmond launched the art book series "As Seen By"Here, there are no promotional snapshots, but rather intimate and profound artistic visions. Photographers such as Coco Capitán, Rosie Marks, and Letizia Le Fur were given free rein to capture the spirit of a place. Whether it's the vibrant atmosphere of the Copacabana Palace as seen through the lens of Ángel Castellanos or Tuscany as viewed by Cecy Young, these clothbound books are fragments of the soul, proudly presented at Paris Photo 2025 at the Grand Palais.

Recipes & Wanderings
With the publisher Apartamento, Belmond explores the visceral connection between travel and land. The latest in the series, The BajíoThis book is a vibrant tribute to the heart of Mexico. Through Heather Sten's lens, gastronomy becomes a visual poem. We discover the techniques of chefs such as Ruben Yáñez Hernández and Daniela Soto-Innes, interspersed with photographs of colorful landscapes. It's no longer a cookbook; it's a sensory journey that reminds us that every dish is a story of hands and land.

Legendary Destinations
Finally, by partnering with the prestigious Assouline fashion house, Belmond celebrates its iconic pieces in the collection. ClassicsThrough rare archival material and photographs by masters such as Colin Dodgson and Gleeson Paulino, the properties are showcased in all their splendor. The volume dedicated to the Splendido in Portofino marks the beginning of a new era for this recently renovated "grand dame," while the book on Peru commemorates 25 years of the brand's presence in this sacred country.
