An unclassifiable and constantly evolving artist, Disiz is not just a rapper or musician: he can be defined today as a cross-disciplinary creator. From his beginnings under the name Disiz La Peste, to his 14the album « "We won't remember it." (2025), he constantly explores new territories, from music to storytelling, from image to acting.

This latest project, boasting 20 tracks, brings together unexpected collaborations with Kid Cudi, Laurent Voulzy, Theodora, and Belgian singer Iliona, illustrating his ongoing desire to create an artistic dialogue between generations and diverse aesthetics. The album blends gentleness, melancholy, and anger in the face of an unstable world, while celebrating family love and tenderness, the cornerstones of his sensitive universe. His tour, which began in Brussels on January 22nd, extends this collaborative approach to the stage, with the same musicians who contributed to the album.
Born in Amiens as Serigne M'baye Gueye and raised in Évry in the Épinettes district, Disiz has always been a sensitive and attentive observer. Early on, he turned to rap as a means of expression, while developing a critical perspective on the world and himself. His career is marked by transformations, from Disiz La Peste, a reflection of his humor and energy, to Disiz Peter Punk (Inside the crocodile's belly, 2010), a period in which he explored rock and pop sounds, including his more introspective albums Extra-lucid (2012) et Love (2022). These projects demonstrate her taste for hybrid forms and her ability to transcend genre boundaries.

The visual series created at La Fondation, in the 17th arrondissement, is part of this approach. Far from a simple portrait, it aims to capture a moment of transition, a posture in construction. The raw architecture of the space, made of open volumes and mineral materials, acts as an extension of its creative state. Under Pierre-Émile Havette's lens, gestures are rare, measured, suspended. The co-artistic direction allowed the space to be approached as a mirror of disiz's creative intimacy.
The chromatic choices—steel, dense green, cold gray—create subtle counterpoints to the character. Artistic references structure the tension of the series: Tarkovsky for the stretched time, Wenders for the architectural solitude, Kubrick for the rigor of the framing. The aim is not to illustrate what Disiz is today, but to suggest what he is striving for, capturing the density of an artist who changes and becomes sublime with time, a creator who, after more than twenty years in the business, continues to search, experiment, and reinvent himself.
Project "We won't remember it." This resonates perfectly with this approach: music and image converse around a shared idea of unabashed sensitivity and artistic truth. Nostalgia, melancholy, but also anger and social awareness permeate the album, while the collaboration with musicians from different generations and styles illustrates the importance of the human and collective dimension for disiz. This energy is present in every shot of the series at La Fondation, where space, light, and gesture become the silent partners of an artist in search of continuity and intimacy.
